Review – HTC One S

by | Apr 20, 2012 | Technology

Another month and another smartphone (or ten) hit the market.  But the HTC One S from T-Mobile stands out for several reasons.  The most striking of which is its compact form factor:  thin is in.

At just 7.95mm thin with its aluminum, unibody design, this is T-Mobile’s thinnest smartphone.  It packs Beats by Dre technology which gives a rich authentic sound when using headphones.  Preloaded apps like T-Mobile TV, Beats Audio and HTC Movie Editor makes this a true multimedia device.

This is one of the first smartphones I have used with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) – a great update to my already-favorite Android OS.  The device takes advantage of T-Mobile’s 4G network speeds and which makes functions like video-conferencing simple and seamless.  $199 after $50 mail-in rebate
