Summer vacations are wrapping up and you need somewhere to dump all those photos and videos you took. There are many online storage web sites but Flickr offers several easy-to-use features with a simple and fast upload utility.
Flickr provides tools for both personal (for memory preservation) and social (for community-based) photo sharing. I was impressed with tagging and geotagging. They allow members to add descriptive keywords to their own photos or public photos. The tags better enable members to search, find and explore their own photos and digital imagery from around the globe they may not have otherwise discovered.
The Yahoo-owned company offers a free account with up to 100MB of photo upload per month. A Pro account allow for unlimited photo and video storage for about $25 per year.
