TV: Cool & Crazy Things I Saw At CES 2025

And for the 23rd year, he came, he went, he conquered, he walked, he tried to find compelling things to talk about.  CES 2025 is now in the books and I’m still trying to figure out what I saw, do they make sense, and actually WHY some of the stuff was actually made.

A.I. were the two biggest letters seen across Las Vegas during this year’s version of the world’s largest technology show.  Unlike a robot or a car or laptop or a large TV, you can’t see or touch Artificial Intelligence.  A.I. is built inside products and many companies were eager to let use know that their product and service utilized A.I.  Of course, I did see my share of robots that vacuumed, ironed, poured drinks, and mopped.

I saw self-driving cars, EV charging systems, new car releases including the Afeela – the joint venture between Sony and Honda, drone taxis that will probably not take off during my lifetime, and foldable scooters.  All pretty cool; all pretty expensive.

I did manage to score several suitcases worth of demo products of some products that just recently hit the market.  I actually like some of them including the new OnePlus 13 and 13 smartphones, ASUS Zenbook A14 super-lightweight laptop, Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, and the Yaber 2Ls home projector.  Health tech products continue to amaze me and I’m sure there are people who may need a Bebird earwax cleaner, Elehear hearing aids, and a Laifen electric toothbrush.  And I’ll be giving away some of these toys on my radio show this weekend.  In the meantime, take a look at some of them from my appearance on Great Day Houston, (KHOU-CBS).
